I modelli classici e tardo- antichi nei carmi odeporici di Venanzio Fortunato

This article deals to research the classical and late-antiquity literary models in the travel poetry of Venantius Fortunatus through the analysis of some poems that have a key role for the development of this theme in relation to both the author’s poetry and his personal events. After explaining the poems’ content, it is exposed the lexical analysis through the references to classical and late-antiquity authors: these data are presented into tables with the addition of the references to other poet’s literary works. Finally, it is given a brief commentary about the most considerable iuncturae concerning the past models’ references.
