Così come la città abitata è il registro delle azioni dell’uomo, che restituisce l’Immagine specchiata del movimento incessante del mondo, del mutamento sociale, delle regole e dei ruoli che governano la convivenza, allo stesso modo un’opera costruita registra il ritmo, nel tempo, di abbandoni e successive occupazioni: nel momento in cui manca la ragione politica che l’ha determinata, l'opera per scongiurare l'imminente fine, si rende disponibile ad accogliere altre possibili vite…

Just as the inhabited city is the register of man’s actions, which returns the mirror image of the incessant movement of the world, of social change, of rules and roles that govern coexistence, in the same way a built work records the rhythm, over time, of abandonments and subsequent appropriations: when the political reason that determined it is lacking, the built work, to avert its imminent end, becomes available to welcome other possible lives.
