El léxico femenino de las profesiones en español e italiano. Un modelo de análisis entre sistema, norma y habla aplicado al caso de ministra

The object of study of this article is the lexicon of professions in Spanish and Italian. Its aim is to propose a new theoretical and methodological approach to the analysis of the grammatical category of gender as it is expressed in professional nouns referring to women in positions of high responsibility. After presenting the state of the art on inclusive lexicon and linguistic sexism, in the first part of the paper, we illustrate our model of analysis based on Eugenio Coseriu dis- tinction between System - Norm - Speech and, in the second part, we present a Spanish-Ita- lian case study focused on the noun ministra. The multidimensional analysis developed in a comparative perspective highlights interesting aspects of convergence and misalign- ment in the interaction between the three dimensions considered.
