Abstract
The timing proposed during the COP 26 will allow global warming to be kept below the + 2.4 ° C threshold by the end of this century but not to respect the agreements of the Paris summit (2015). In this framework, the cities, where 70% of emissions are concentrated, must become laboratories for change. The time has come to take care of these territories and to apply innovative restoration measures through “nature”. Nature Based Solutions (NBS), tree planting and urban forestation, are among those actions able to contribute to reach future emissions targets. From this premises in 2021 takes shape the project Costellazione Microforeste Roma aimed at spreading Tiny Forests. The purpose of the paper is to illustrate a multistakeholder process based on the concept of green infrastructure (EU 2013) which involves the Comune di Roma, gains the interest of local Municipalities and finally receives the endorsement of the Regione Lazio – programma Ossigeno.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
