Biblioteche e associazioni professionali: politiche e strategie per la sostenibilità

The paper represents the fourth stage of the “Ways of sustainability”, after reflections on buildings, specialized collections, training and educational initiatives and communication. In this series of papers different themes are faced, all referable to libraries sustainability. This paper analyses the fundamental and strategic role of libraries professional associations for sustainability in the Italian and international context, and the importance of spreading a culture of sustainability that sees libraries as protagonists.
