By re-adapting the notion of the “geoscopic regime” introduced by the Italian geographer Eugenio Turri to cartographic visualization models and geographical imagination, this article aims at laying the foundations for a techno-aesthetics of earthly vision. That is, aesthetics understood not as a philosophy of art or a science of beauty, but a critical reflection on the performances of human’s aisthesis and its natural tendency to extend itself into artefacts
