This essay was inspired by the centenary of the roman School of Architecture and the excellent material made available by the Moretti Magnifico archives. The goal is to define Luigi Moretti as an ‘integral architect’, a typical example of the School of Rome. In his work in fact arises an idea of architecture syn- thesizable as critical blend of interdisciplinary elements. The amount of time of this research is between his academic education and the final design of the Foro Mussolini.
