This paper comments on the adoption of sustainability factors in the definition of the distribution and insurance consulting model in light of product and oversight governance (POG) processes. In particular, the obligations relating to insurance distribution and the consultative assessment of ESG preferences in customer relations, POG processes and the appropriate changes to distribution strategies and benefits deriving from effective implementation of regulatory changes are examined.
