The dossier 'Networks, cities, territories' is contextualized in a process of in-depth analysis and comparison within international and national contexts, highlighting the essential role of landscape as an interpretative key of the 'network of minor territories' , as the outcome of the processes of metropolisation of the contemporary city, where the purposes of urban and territorial rebalancing are aimed to an integrated development between city and suburban area, to the improvement of connectivity and to reach an harmony among ecological, landscape and cultural values (EU, 2011). This is therefore an opportunity for the convergence of some thematic issues, which are major ambitious disciplinary innovations, central to the objectives and policies of the European Urban Agenda. Such issues have played for years an important role in research activities, experimentation and training conducted by research centres and universities, such as PDTA Department, receptive to the evolving social, cultural, economic and political issues arising from the territory.

Abstract
Such issues have played for years an important role in research activities, experimentation and training conducted by research centres and universities, such as PDTA Department, receptive to the evolving social, cultural, economic and political issues arising from the territory.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
