Authors propose several implementations for production workflows based on the novel ACES Metadata File (AMF), previously known as "ACESclip": a XML-based sidecar file containing information about a content/project/scene/clip/frame colorimetry based on the Academy Color Encoding System (ACES). The proposal allows for interoperable, effective and usable workflows interoperating with several other production file formats, like Edit Decition List (EDL), the ASC Color Decision List (CDL), and the Academy Common LUT Format (CLF). By interoperating AMF, EDL, CDL and CLF, complex multi-camera and multi-output filmic projects can be delivered with full preservation of consistent looks and technical color parameters, from camera-native footage recording/proxying, throigh editorial, grading, VFX, mastering and long-term archival.

Abstract
Authors propose several implementations for production workflows based on the novel ACES Metadata File (AMF), previously known as "ACESclip": a XML-based sidecar file containing information about a content/project/scene/clip/frame colorimetry based on the Academy Color Encoding System (ACES). The proposal allows for interoperable, effective and usable workflows interoperating with several other production file formats, like Edit Decition List (EDL), the ASC Color Decision List (CDL), and the Academy Common LUT Format (CLF). By interoperating AMF, EDL, CDL and CLF, complex multi-camera and multi-output filmic projects can be delivered with full preservation of consistent looks and technical color parameters, from camera-native footage recording/proxying, throigh editorial, grading, VFX, mastering and long-term archival.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
