The research scenario on Human Resource Management (HRM) has undergone profound changes as a result of diversification of issues related to technology, sustainability, economics and financial considerations and the changing nature and organization of work. The Artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the way human resources are managed in an organization and it is bringing in new approaches to human resources development (HRD). The current extended abstract aims at providing an overview of extant research on AI in HRD by comprehensively analyzing the evolution and state-of-the-art research as well as identifying future trends in order to provide useful directions for future research in the field. Our research uses a topic mapping based on keywords co-occurrence analysis and it is quite in line with the trend traced by European and Italian policymakers towards the development of a human-centric AI.

Abstract
The research scenario on Human Resource Management (HRM) has undergone profound changes as a result of diversification of issues related to technology, sustainability, economics and financial considerations and the changing nature and organization of work. The Artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the way human resources are managed in an organization and it is bringing in new approaches to human resources development (HRD). The current extended abstract aims at providing an overview of extant research on AI in HRD by comprehensively analyzing the evolution and state-of-the-art research as well as identifying future trends in order to provide useful directions for future research in the field. Our research uses a topic mapping based on keywords co-occurrence analysis and it is quite in line with the trend traced by European and Italian policymakers towards the development of a human-centric AI.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
