Programmare e progettare per la salute e il benessere in uno scenario di transizione

The global context today raises new challenges that require an integrated approach to promote actions for better health and well-being of the population. From the current opinion that looks at health and well-being as the result of a system of determinants influenced by multiple factors (social, environmental, economic, etc.), this paper goes through some relevant aspects that led to the adoption of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan for Italy for reorganizing the territorial service network for cure and prevention. Along with such reorganization, emphasis is on remodeling physical places and facilities provided for the implementation. This will require appropriate skills and tools to support the different phases (from planning to design, construction, and management of spaces) and to ensure effective responses in compliance with all sustainability requirements and proper use of resources. On this purpose, the approaches and experiences developed in the discipline of Architectural Technology are a know-how that, even today, is directly employable for implementing the new infrastructure system expected for communitary services.
