The contribution proposes the results of an integrated and multidisciplinary experience based on a review of traditional massive acquisition methodologies. The object of the study is Palazzo Pallotta in Caldarola (MC), a building constructed at the end of the 16th century which, over the centuries, has undergone various transformations that have substantially modified its spatial and functional features. Used since the end of the 19th century as the town hall, it was evacuated following the damage caused by the earthquakes that hit central Italy in 2016. The Palazzo is currently awaiting structural and functional rehabilitation as it is severely damaged, with an alarming crack pattern that has led to its use being interrupted and its practicability limited. The survey, carried out with integrated massive methodology, using static and mobile instrumentation, offered the opportunity to propose technological solutions capable of acquiring a considerable amount of data in a very short time and that find their privileged use in such post-emergency contexts. Attention was focused on the possibility of analyzing and studying the artefact and its architectural and decorative components through a process of analysis to be conducted remotely. It is precisely this aspect that has allowed for a productive interdisciplinary dialogue, harmoniously aimed at safeguarding the cultural asset being surveyed and replicable in other similar cultural assets.
Il contributo propone l’esito di un’esperienza integrata e multidisciplinare basata su una revisione delle tradizionali metodologie di acquisizione di tipo massivo. Oggetto dello studio è Palazzo Pallotta a Caldarola (MC), un edificio realizzato sul finire del Cinquecento che, nel corso dei secoli, ha subito diverse trasformazioni che ne hanno modificato in maniera sostanziale spazialità e funzione. Adibito da fine Ottocento a sede municipale, è stato evacuato a seguito dei danni dovuti ai sismi che hanno colpito il Centro Italia nel 2016. Il Palazzo è attualmente in attesa di interventi di riabilitazione strutturale e funzionale poiché gravemente danneggiato, con un allarmante quadro fessurativo che ha indotto a interromperne l’uso e limitarne la praticabilità. Il rilievo, realizzato con metodologia massiva integrata, realizzata con strumentazioni di tipo statico e mobile, ha offerto l’occasione per proporre soluzioni tecnologiche in grado di acquisire una mole considerevole di dati in tempi molto brevi e che trovano un loro privilegiato utilizzo in tali contesti post-emergenziali. In particolare, viene posta l’attenzione sulle possibilità di analisi e studio del manufatto e delle sue componenti architettoniche e decorative attraverso un processo di analisi da condurre in remoto. Proprio questo aspetto ha consentito un produttivo dialogo interdisciplinare armonicamente rivolto alla salvaguardia del bene culturale oggetto del rilievo e replicabile in altri analoghi beni culturali.
