With recently developed software called "Smuthi", a linear space-limited model is constructed in an all-dielectric metasurface made of AlGaAs nanocylinders on aluminium oxide substrate, this structure has been demonstrated to support very strong nonlinear optical effects such as second-harmonic generation (SHG) with efficiency around 10-4 at magnetic dipole resonance wavelength (around 1600nm). This model includes border effects, the contribution of lateral walls representing the finite structure same as the experimental phase.
