In this exploratory study, we investigated whether low-frequency quantitative ultrasound measurement at the distal radius may capture the peripheral determinants of bone fragility assessed with dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) and high-resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography (HR-pQCT).
