Sociological thought, at the very moment it reflects social experience, expresses itself through conceptual categories and theoretical devices that allow it, at the same time, to analyse its epistemological, hermeneutical and ideological assumptions, to investigate the gnoseological processes through which it formalises its knowledge and to critically discuss the cognitive procedures that define the methods of its scientific argumentation. The question of the foundation of sociology, its relationship with historicity and social experience, and its epistemological, gnoseological, ethical and conceptual dimensions have therefore been problematically highlighted.

Abstract
Sociological thought, at the very moment it reflects social experience, expresses itself through conceptual categories and theoretical devices that allow it, at the same time, to analyse its epistemological, hermeneutical and ideological assumptions, to investigate the gnoseological processes through which it formalises its knowledge and to critically discuss the cognitive procedures that define the methods of its scientific argumentation. The question of the foundation of sociology, its relationship with historicity and social experience, and its epistemological, gnoseological, ethical and conceptual dimensions have therefore been problematically highlighted.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
