The Novembertagung is an international colloquium meant for PhD and post-doc students in History of mathematics. This year it is devoted to the subject Transfer of mathematical knowledge in journals, correspondence and scientific societies. We wish to create a workshop atmosphere through debates and informal talks, with the aim to present ongoing research and the draft of the PhD thesis. The methodological comparison, the complementarity of research topics, and the opportunity of direct contacts and dialogues with expert historians in the field are the main characteristics of the event. The colloquium has an important role for PhD and post-doc students who are setting up their historiographical work, refining the results submitted to critique and writing down the thesis.
