Digitalization is significantly changing behaviours and needs of individuals as well as the business processes of firms. The application of new technologies makes processes more efficient, faster and helps to contain risks. This case study explores the peculiarities of the “Spunta Banca DLT” project, coordinated by ABI Lab, which promotes the automation of back-oce processes in banking, by applying the Distributed Ledger Technology to the traditional Interbank process. The interest in the automation of business processes is growing and the coopetion by consortium agreements is a solution to share costs and risks and accelerate the digital transformation of the single entities.
