Ultima Thule o nuova Gemeinschaft: smart communities e trasformazioni dello spazio urbano

The present study is substantially constructed into two parts, the first focused on the analysis of urban space from a sociological point of view, as theoretical introduction to better understand the radical change of the social space, from the pre-modern society to the contemporary one. The second part focuses on the contemporary society and it is more investigative and critical around the smart communities and smart cities. A particular focus is on the knowledge of ICT, which shows positive but also critical aspects in the construction of the smart paradigm.
