In the unprecedented virtual setting imposed by the COVID-19 emergency, the two days of presentation of the issues 54- 55 and 56 of Trasporti & Cultura, dedicated respectively to “Ports and global logistic chains” and “Transport and environmental sustainability”, saw the active participation of academics, scholars and experts in the world of infrastructures, who met in Zoom’s multimedia “room” to deepen and discuss the issues within the numbers. The meeting on June 16 – with the presentation of the 54-55 issue curated by Paolo Costa (Ca’ Foscari University of Venice) and Giovanni Giacomello (DiCEA, University of Padua) – represented the occasion to draw up a balance of the situation of the main Italian port realities net of the critical issues and challenges that the sector has been experiencing in recent years; while the number 56 “Transport and Environmental Sustainability” – edited by Francesco Bosello (University of Milan) and Federica Bosello (Communication Manager) and presented on July 3 – provided an opportunity to discuss the interrelationship between transport and the urban landscape. The specific theme of the volume, dedicated to sustainability, highlighted the centrality of this area for the community and the disciplines related to planning.

Abstract
The specific theme of the volume, dedicated to sustainability, highlighted the centrality of this area for the community and the disciplines related to planning.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
