In a globalized world, such as the one we knew up to the early months of 2020, the role of transport was unintentionally central to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic but, at the same time, it allowed populations to survive for a long time in a regime of lockdown and forced isolation. The impact of the pandemic was therefore radical both in the field of passenger travel and transportation: on the one hand, restrictions on mobility led to constraints in the way of use and travel, on the other hand, the contraction in economic activity limited logistics both on a national scale and, above all, on an international scale. Asia, the epicentre of the pandemic and one of the areas most affected by its economic consequences, in many ways represents the outpost for experimenting with possible answers to find new ways of using public transport. This paper aims to analyse two responses, among the most recent in order of time, implemented in the field of public transportation in Japan and Hong Kong.

Abstract
This paper aims to analyse two responses, among the most recent in order of time, implemented in the field of public transportation in Japan and Hong Kong.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
