Abstract
After the irreversible caesura of the Second World War and the radical "rupture in civilization" represented by the Holocaust, a number of young writers in Austria, gathered primarily around the periodical Plan, attempted to find a new poetic voice within post-war German-speaking literature. Among them was Ilse Aichinger (1921-2016), then a medical student. Her literary beginnings are linked to the publication of a short story and two programmatic texts in which the Viennese writer emphasizes the need to put literature on a new ethical footing.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
