The article focuses on reviewing the accuracy of a select number of historical documentaries, and in addition, it puts ephasis on the role of documentaries on widely available online platforms regarding public history and how these works shape the public memory of the audience. This article was done with special emphasis on how due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of people watching documentaries on online platforms has grown substantially.
