This article is structured in two different chapters, each dealing with a Greek manuscript now kept in the Palatina Library of Parma. The first chapter provides a detailed reconstruction of the two-volume edition of Strabo’s Geography that Demetrios Raoul Kavakes, George Gemistos Plethon’s beloved pupil in Mystras, produced in Rome in the second half of the 15th century (Mss. Vat. gr. 173 and Parm. 3062). The second chapter reassembles an astronomical miscellany which is also now divided between the Vatican Library and the Palatina Library of Parma (Mss. Vat. gr. 213 + Parm. 165), traces its origin to mid-14th century Thessa- lonica and identifies its hands in some other manuscripts with scientific content.

Abstract
Vat. gr. 213 + Parm. 165), traces its origin to mid-14th century Thessa- lonica and identifies its hands in some other manuscripts with scientific content.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
