Cooperative di comunità. La legislazione regionale vigente e la prospettiva di una normativa generale

In recent years, particularly in the last decade, the community cooperative has appeared as a new form of enterprise in the history of the cooperative movement. This new business rationale and legal status are in line with the history of cooperatives in Italy. Coomunity cooperatives have experienced a strong expansion in Italy, accompanied and encouraged by various regional legislative initiatives aimed at regulating this corporate phenomenon. The various regional regulations in force today have notable common traits, but they also differ for their numerous peculiar characteristics and prospects. These well represent the problems and issues of 'extended mutuality' and the link with the community. However, community cooperatives are now increasing in both numbers and nation-wide presence, making a general regulation of this form of enterprise increasingly necessary, starting from the projects and draft laws that have recently been presented for discussion in the parliamentary halls.
