The paper analyzes the peculiar iconography of an Early Old Babylonian seal recently discovered at Abu Tbeirah. The dancing scene depicted, together with the secondary moments, seems to suggest a connection of the representation with the goddess Ištar. Furthermore, the identification of the kind of dance in honor of the goddess is tentatively related to the celebrations established by Ea in the coeval Agušaya Poem.
