Abstract

Las megaconstelaciones de satélites se presentan como una solución para brindar conectividad en muchas zonas rurales y remotas. Sin embargo, la comunidad científica está alertando sobre el impacto negativo que la luminosidad provocada por miles de objetos espaciales en órbitas bajas puede causar en la observación del Universo con telescopios emplazados en la Tierra. Este artículo analizará las herramientas que el Derecho Espacial brinda para proteger los cielos oscuros y la astronomía.
