This paper reports the results of a study conducted to inquiry how the teachers of LES (Liceo Economico-Sociale) face the challenges of distance learning, during the period of the first national lockdown in Italy. What are the positive surprises that emerge in the new teaching and learning context? And what are the main difficulties that the teachers are facing? This study highlights the problems and the opportunities that the distance learning and teaching can offer to students and teachers, in the new context shaped by the pandemic of Covid19.
