The paper is about the urban spatiality of four newly founded rural villages: Esquivel by A. de la Sota, Vegaviana by Fernandez del Amo, la Martella by L. Quaroni, Borgo Porte Conte by L. Figini and G. Pollini. Living and production environments, urban layouts and public spaces are designed starting from material objects and from the needs of the inhabitants. These tangible activators are carefully represented in the drawings, as if to emphasise the connections sparked in the genesis of the form.
