This essay aims to analyse the theme of light as a form of reflection and knowledge with particular reference to two authors of literary modernity: in particular, I will compare the way in which light takes shape within In questa luce by D. Del Giudice and Aleph by J.L. Borges. In these two books, although profoundly different from each other, the two authors seem to place at the center of their writing the presence of light as a source of knowledge, but also of literary inspiration. Light therefore becomes for both authors the element from which the fluidity of the storytelling that characterizes the two works, albeit in a different way, starts. Consequently, I will take into account the links between light and writing in Del Giudice and between light and authorship in Borges, as a manifestation of new narrative structures.

Abstract
This essay aims to analyse the theme of light as a form of reflection and knowledge with particular reference to two authors of literary modernity: in particular, I will compare the way in which light takes shape within In questa luce by D. Del Giudice and Aleph by J.L. Borges. In these two books, although profoundly different from each other, the two authors seem to place at the center of their writing the presence of light as a source of knowledge, but also of literary inspiration. Light therefore becomes for both authors the element from which the fluidity of the storytelling that characterizes the two works, albeit in a different way, starts. Consequently, I will take into account the links between light and writing in Del Giudice and between light and authorship in Borges, as a manifestation of new narrative structures.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
