Italy is a rich thermal country; inside Lazio region is located 7.1% of the spa towns; in Sicily 4.9%, in Veneto 4.3%, but despite the central south is more equipped with thermal sights, is the north that excels in the ability to develop the resource and the relative armature; in Veneto we have 23% of spa facilities against 5.6% in Lazio and only 2.8% in Sicily Viterbo has an historical tradition as a thermal town, Etruscans exploited them first, Romans expanded their structures.
