Psoriasis is a multifactorial-chronic-inflammatory skin disease, charac- terized by erythemato-squamous lesions, with a chronic relapsing course and significant systemic comorbidities (arthritis, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases). Erythrodermic psoriasis (EP), has a prevalence of 1% to 2.25% among psoriatic population. EP is characterized by cutaneous redness, tending to purple, scal- ing, edema, pruritus, occasionally exudative lesions and diffuse des- quamation, covering more than 90% of body surface.
