Seguridad cibernética de los sistemas espaciales: El dilema de contribuir a la gobernanza global de las actividades en el espacio o dejar un vacío legal

From the origins of space activity to the present, there have been revolutionary technological changes that present a real challenge to the balance achieved in the space treaties. The debate today is between an evolutionary interpretation of the law or its rigidity; between the creation of new rules or norms, or a legal vacuum. This article will analyse a possible interpretation of fundamental norms of international space law and their application to cyber activities in outer space, concluding that it will be up to the international community to reach consensus on the forum, the type of instrument and its scope in order to fill any lacuna.
