This paper presents a new perspective on vv. 5-22 of Aristophanes’ Thesmophoriazusae, in which the dialogue between Euripides and the In-law appears, in light of the examination of dramaturgical features such as the use of the ἐκκύκλημα, as an acknowledgement of Euripides’ experimental theatrical techniques.
