We read with interest the letter to the editors published in Liver Transplantation describing an aberrant right hepatic artery.1 In this letter, the authors properly emphasize the importance of liver transplantation in the study of the hepatic vascular anatomy. They report and define as previously not described an anomaly of the hepatic artery observed in four procurements performed by their group. In those cases, an aberrant right accessory hepatic artery was originating from the celiac trunk.

Abstract
We read with interest the letter to the editors published in Liver Transplantation describing an aberrant right hepatic artery.1 In this letter, the authors properly emphasize the importance of liver transplantation in the study of the hepatic vascular anatomy. They report and define as previously not described an anomaly of the hepatic artery observed in four procurements performed by their group.
