Abstract
When Seuils was published in 1987, it led to the rapid adoption of its terminology - but to no serious critical debate. An overview of the book's stakes, objects, methods and results, followed by the definition of the difficulties posed by the study of the paratext, of which Genette was conscious, leads to suggestions for further study as essentially the relationship between paratext and text - with two examples, from Balzac and Delphine de Girardin.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
