Abstract
After having dedicated himself at length to the study of justice and conflict situations, Luc Boltanski dedicates himself to a reality often left aside from theories of action: states of peace. If it is true that social relations can cause conflict, it is equally true that in many cases individuals act in a peaceful way. Alongside the other regimes of action, "agape retains its own force, and its presence in human society, however modest, is by no means irrelevant. In the fundamental intention of science to produce assertions and links between assertions about reality with a rational claim to impersonality, the aprioristic rejection of a reality would mean the very negation of science. Such a regime, usually ignored by modern theories of the most widely known regimes of action founded on the assumption of generalized calculability, can be called into question to make understandable many ordinary situations where, apparently without reason, people give more than ordinary logic would predict, expect, or suppose from other models of action.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
