The research carried out at Lago Tramonto, Gambulaga (FE), allowed the recovery and study of some amphorae and Italic terra sigillata. The site is located in a strategic position along an ancient riverbed of the river Po and already known in literature for the nearby Fadieni's necropolis. It will be presented the results of this study, useful for defining typologies and chronology of pottery, and the economic and commercial potential of this hypothetical Roman river harbour.
