The right to a sustainable and inclusive mobility represents today a key issue of the debate on fragile territories, in a perspective of territorial rebalancing, environmental regeneration and socioeconomic resilience, starting from a growing awareness of the complex links between depopulation, abandonment and divestment of the infrastructural heritage. In particular, the connections between the smaller centers of inner areas and the main nodes of the territories on the coast, identified as strategic transversal routes for daily accessibility and management of tourist flows, are only possible with private vehicles. This research, which is the result of the convergence of some national and international research paths, is aimed at defining guidelines for an intermodal mobility system, which involves different types of mobility in relation to the context, trying to enhance the territorial heritage and at the same time, addressing accessibility issues, to foster reactivation in terms of new opportunities and liveability of fragile territories.

Abstract
The right to a sustainable and inclusive mobility represents today a key issue of the debate on fragile territories, in a perspective of territorial rebalancing, environmental regeneration and socioeconomic resilience, starting from a growing awareness of the complex links between depopulation, abandonment and divestment of the infrastructural heritage. In particular, the connections between the smaller centers of inner areas and the main nodes of the territories on the coast, identified as strategic transversal routes for daily accessibility and management of tourist flows, are only possible with private vehicles. This research, which is the result of the convergence of some national and international research paths, is aimed at defining guidelines for an intermodal mobility system, which involves different types of mobility in relation to the context, trying to enhance the territorial heritage and at the same time, addressing accessibility issues, to foster reactivation in terms of new opportunities and liveability of fragile territories.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
