К истории слова абсолютно в русском языке (The Semantic Evolution of the Adverb absoljutno in the Russian Language)

The paper deals with a semantic evolution of the adverb абсолютно (absolutely) in the Russian language in the XVIII - XXI centuries. Coexisting and interchanging main meanings of this word are defined using the Russian National Corpus and the chronology of its various semantic shifts is specified. The author analyzes how under the influence of the philosophical discourse of the ХIХ century a modern meaning of the term абсолютно has been formed as a marker of the highest degree of attribute.

Il contributo descrive l’evoluzione semantica dell’avverbio russo абсолютно dall’Ottocento ad oggi. Con l’ausilio del Corpus nazionale della lingua russa viene definita la cronologia dei vari slittamenti semantici e vengono descritte le principali accezioni della parola che si alternano e coesistono in diacronia. L’analisi dimostra come, sotto l’influsso del discorso filosofico russo del Novecento, si formi il significato contemporaneo della parola абсолютно quale marcatore del limite massimo della qualità.
