This article constitutes a geographical analysis of emigration from Lazio abroad, starting from the post-WWII period. This research was sponsored by the Lazio Regional Administration in order to plan specific programs for its residents abroad, based on the needs of different communities and generations of migrants. Variations in the demographic structure of all the 378 municipalities of Lazio as related to migrations are considered and analyzed.
