Although no definite conclusion could be reached on the safety of VGB in kids less than 2 years old due to the limited amount of information, we want to emphasize that VGB in infants and young children seems to be safer about VAVFL. Only 3% of children under 2 years of age manifested VAVFL on a large cohort of 222 patients, showing that a younger age (under 2 years of age) could represent a protective factor against VAVFL complications.

Abstract
Although no definite conclusion could be reached on the safety of VGB in kids less than 2 years old due to the limited amount of information, we want to emphasize that VGB in infants and young children seems to be safer about VAVFL. Only 3% of children under 2 years of age manifested VAVFL on a large cohort of 222 patients, showing that a younger age (under 2 years of age) could represent a protective factor against VAVFL complications.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
