The areas that wil host the case of study wil be the rural area of the province of Matera and the coastal area of Metapontino, land of agricultural production of materano. The territory is home to important agricultural settlements in the Mediterranean and is characterized by systems of water management since antiquity characterized by particular sustainability. The experimentation will move in coherence with the aims of the project, testing the site in terms of efficiency of water use, use of unconventional irrigation water, to improve its governance by the different authorities.
