L’articolo, all’interno della sezione (a cura dello stesso autore) dedicata al Progetto urbano della centralità di Romanina a Roma (Progetto Manuel Salgado, Coordinamento urbanistico Maurizio Marcelloni), propone una riflessione su alcuni punti focali della procedura del progetto urbano, l’attenzione al contesto, la garanzia della partecipazione e l’obiettivo dell’efficacia e della qualità dell’intervento, termini con cui deve misurarsi la costruzione del progetto urbano di una centralità.
