EnglishThe essay explores the patronage network of lHa btsun Rin chen rnam rgyal in southwestern Tibet and analyses the reasons of his ability to mobilise a huge quantity of resources in terms of people and materials. The story of this religious master shows how printing was promoted and spread throughout Tibet thanks to the synergy between higher and lower classes, and how charismatic masters contributed to the diffusion of Buddhist works in the country.
