The authors regret that there is a minor error in the literature section of this article. On p. 3, the sentence “The use of second-generation biofuels such as bioethanol and biodiesel is problematic, as it entails the risk of subtracting land and water for the supply of food (Mekonnen et al., 2018; Rajaeifar et al., 2019)" is now replaced with: “The use of second-generation feedstocks (e.g. agricultural residues or waste) for biofuels production might help overcoming part of the so called sustainability contention of biofuel since it could reduce the risk of subtracting land and water for the supply of food (Mekonnen et al., 2018; Rajaeifar et al., 2019)” This correction does not alter the findings or conclusions of the study. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
