This paper presents the preliminary study of the pottery corpus from the archaeological site of Estakhr (Fars, Iran) found during the excavations conducted by the Italian-Iranian Archaeological Mission between 2012 and 2016. The study of ceramic assemblages (from the 9th to possibly the 13th centuries) has been fundamental to date the phases identified within the stratigraphy.
