The decision process is conceptually different than the decision structure: A specific process is indeed only one possible way to model and implement a decision, including the verification of requirements, dependencies, goals, data sources, etc. There may be more possible process models and implementations for a specific decision. And the same decision could be used in multiple processes. The purpose of the workshop was thus a.o. to examine the relationship between decisions and processes, to enhance decision mining based on process data (e.g. event logs), and to find a good integration between decision modeling and process modeling. Out of the high-quality submitted manuscripts, two papers were accepted for publication, with an acceptance rate of 40%. They contributed to foster a fruitful discussion among the participants about the respective impact and the interplay of the decision perspective and the process perspective.

Abstract
They contributed to foster a fruitful discussion among the participants about the respective impact and the interplay of the decision perspective and the process perspective.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
