Comment on interesting article by Spano et al. that offers an understanding regarding the efficacy and safety of anti-PD1 in patients living with HIV and cancer in clinical practice. In this case report, we detail a case of a patient with melanoma and chronically infected with HIV who is successfully treated with anti-PD1 after ineffective treatment with BRAF-MEK inhibitors.
