The research aims to develop an integrated descriptive path of a portion of the Campania region, between the slopes of Taburno and the hills of Terra di Lavoro, characterized by a landscape of undoubted historical-environmental value, rich in structures, rural architecture and production facilities, linked to the use of water, the driving element of local economies between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries, and the reason for the transformation and conformation of places. Through the research and critical reading of historical-cartographic sources, the analysis passes through critical integrated operations that allow to deepen the knowledge of the conformation of places in order to highlight the elements of transformation and discontinuity, the immaterial culture of those structures and architectures, even if minor, not for this reason intrinsically incapable of contributing to the memory of places, designing their shape and structure, thus becoming an element of connection and mediation between the city dimension and the surrounding landscape.

Abstract
The research aims to develop an integrated descriptive path of a portion of the Campania region, between the slopes of Taburno and the hills of Terra di Lavoro, characterized by a landscape of undoubted historical-environmental value, rich in structures, rural architecture and production facilities, linked to the use of water, the driving element of local economies between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries, and the reason for the transformation and conformation of places. Through the research and critical reading of historical-cartographic sources, the analysis passes through critical integrated operations that allow to deepen the knowledge of the conformation of places in order to highlight the elements of transformation and discontinuity, the immaterial culture of those structures and architectures, even if minor, not for this reason intrinsically incapable of contributing to the memory of places, designing their shape and structure, thus becoming an element of connection and mediation between the city dimension and the surrounding landscape.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
